MICHAEL JACKSON’S VICTORY TOUR CRYSTAL GLOVE HEADS TO $4 MILLION MUSIC MEMORABILIA AUCTION

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Propstore, one of the world’s leading entertainment memorabilia auction houses, has announced its next major Music Live Auction, taking place in the UK across two days on October 1 and 2, 2026. Featuring an exceptional collection of Michael Jackson memorabilia alongside pieces from some of the world’s most celebrated artists, the auction will offer more than 800 lots with a combined estimated value of $4 million, with bidding available to collectors worldwide.

Leading the collection is a custom-made crystal glove stage-worn by Michael Jackson during the Jacksons’ historic 1984 Victory Tour, estimated at $52,800–$105,600 (£40,000 - £80,000). Staged at the height of Thriller’s unprecedented success, the record-breaking tour marked Jackson’s final performances with his brothers before he fully embarked on his solo career.

Created by celebrity designer Bill Whitten, the white cotton right-hand glove is hand-embellished with Swarovski crystals and was designed to shimmer beneath the stage lights, accentuating Jackson’s rapid movements and signature gestures. It was gifted backstage to a member of the tour’s marketing and ticketing team following one of three sold-out concerts at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The glove is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Artistic Beads & Studio LLC, whose founder, Stella Ruata, and her team carried out much of the Swarovski beadwork on Jackson’s gloves and jackets during the Victory Tour period.

Further highlights include Michael Jackson’s one-of-a-kind customised Sailors varsity jacket, worn during a 1993 visit to a children’s hospital in Washington and also later gifted to Bhatti, estimated at $33,000–$66,000 (£25,000 - £50,000); and a black fedora thrown into the audience during a 1993 Dangerous World Tour performance at Mexico City’s Estadio Azteca, estimated at $13,200–$26,400 (£10,000 - £20,000).

The auction will take place live over two days on October 1 & 2, 2026, with bidding available online, by telephone, and via absentee bids for collectors worldwide.
